Macro took on the challenge of completing all SOX 404 compliance preparations for the IT department of a large utility’s marketing arm. Working within the framework of COSO and COBIT standards, Macro guided the customer through the requisite steps in the compliance road-map. Macro created a custom data repository for tracking internal audit review feedback, compliance issues, business processes, and procedures to support future regulatory obligations. Macro’s Internet-based SOX collaboration tool facilitated the identification and analysis of risks and controls, allowing the customer to:
